One of Boris’s motos appears to be if in a hole keep digging. The biggest infrastucture project for 100 years.
What will be the cost?
Of the 67 MPs constituencies crossed for HS2 high speed rail linked the majority object to it being built in their constituencies.
Thatcher banned milk from our schools and shafted the miners. Some people never forget or forgave her for that and it was very much what her legacy was defined by her critics.
Could Boris’s incompetent handling of HS2 and his efforts to bulldoze through the countryside be high Maggie moment which when it goes wrong with costs spiralling and ecocide and wilful destruction of this green and pleasant land being backed by him coming back to haunt Boris. To avoid a colossal bill coming down the tracks, the HS2 minister Andrew Stephenson must act.

Above is yet another example of how the UK state mechanics fail’s the people, politicians and legal mechanisms of the UK. If the civil service have to resort to lying to set and maintain their agenda, then it is important to know what exactly that agenda is. In the mist of time they have probably forgotten who for what reason the design and decision that was made was and why it is important to stick to it.
I am still having dealing with Network Rail and the Police presently and even though the Police Officer is acting within the letter of the law I am in no way convinced that Network Rail are acting in the letter or the spirit of the law and am awaiting a response now from Natural England concerning the Truth of a matter. It will be interesting to see if they are also accomplices in the bull that enables ecocide and the destruction of wildlife to take place along swathes of the UK all slaughtered on the altar of progress!!
The fact of the matter is that most people consume far more protein than they actually need. The truth of the matter is that he was having an identity crisis when he met Carina. See full dictionary entry for matter
Just heard this evening that the wildife investigation is still continuing with Network rail and they have still provided no evidence of what they have done, whilst also accepting no guilt for the actions that they have taken. They are now claiming that a native species of caterpillar infestation has resulted in them having to cut down a long swath of scrub along the embankment admiting no guilt for the removal of any nesting sites that were cut down in the process.
The native brown tail moth caterpillar they are now blaiming as the reson for cutting back and removing the nests.
My response to the Police was as follows
Thank you for your email, I am pleased that you will be able to find out who actually identified and approved this work and how network rail were made aware that it was needed to be undertaken. I did not realise that this native species to the UK could be such a threat on railway lines and that network rail were actively cleaning tracks because of this. When I spoke to the network rail staff that I saw on the first day that they were doing the cutting, they only said they were clearing brambles to make the pavements for pedestrians clearer, they must be so modest to not say there true intention to me to be carry out such important work.
Such a shame that whoever found the infestation did not take a photo to so as to warn others of this potential infestation of caterpillars; it must have been such a large amount of caterpillars to remove so much of the embankment? I assume the council only becomes aware of what was happening after you informed them and had no prior knowledge of what was going on concerning the cleanup operation.
I am also assuming that they have been given permission to remove birds nest if caterpillars are in the same section of scrub. Is that correct?
In summary my two main questions are who informed network rail of this stretch of land being infested by this native species and were they aloud to remove birds’ nests at this time of year because of the caterpillar population along such a long stretch of land?
I am still waiting for a response and evidence of thier actions.
So the world health organisation has just announced we may never find a cure. That covin-19 might never be eradicated. But one thing we must take into the calculation is that life finds a way and we are not alone in this battle as the virus burns its way across our earth it keeps on coming into contact with our greatest and best ally we have. A sleeping giant so as to speak. One that has yet to be defeated and adapts to fight for our right at every turn. I am not talking about a single person, place country or continent, but the greatest Mom of them all Mother Nature. She fights for us. This virus is an alien to her fighting in an alien environment and every time it tries to spread through us it hits her and I am very confident she is doing her best to hit back and find a way to defeat this virus.
In my minds eye this has been an attack on mother nature not from her to us and she will fight for us.
The awakening of an old god for modern times. In this life as well as the next.
A staple of Insular art, the Celtic cross is essentially a Latin cross with a nimbus surrounding the intersection of the arms and stem. Scholars have debated its exact origins, but it is related to earlier crosses featuring rings. The form gained new popularity during the Celtic Revival of the 19th century; the name “Celtic cross” is a convention dating from that time. The shape, usually decorated with interlace and other motifs from Insular art, became popular for funerary monuments and other uses, and has remained so, spreading well beyond Ireland.
The god Odin enthroned and flanked by the wolves Geri and Freki and the ravens Huginn and Muninn as illustrated (1882) by Carl Emil Doepler
In Norse mythology, Geri and Freki (Old Norse, both meaning “the ravenous” or “greedy one”) are two wolves which are said to accompany the god Odin. They are attested in the Poetic Edda, a collection of epic poetry compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, in the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson, and in the poetry of skalds. The pair has been compared to similar figures found in Greek, Roman and Vedic mythology, and may also be connected to beliefs surrounding the Germanic “wolf-warrior bands”, the Úlfhéðnar.
The following issue is really important to me. My Dad is gay and so is his partner they are both two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. My Dads partner works in the NHS and my Dad is now retired,
I once asked my Dad when did you realised you were gay and he told me he knew because that is how he was born. A bulb lit in my mind thinking how did I know I was straight? The answer was exactly the same I was born straight.
Around the world people are still being beaten, jailed and persecuted for the sexuality that they were born with. A true miscarriage of justice.
So I have just been online and ordered some Blue Ray films that I have not seen yet which look kind of interesting. I opted for the budget second hand ones that are a few years old at least as there the cheapest and I am a cheap skate.
So I have a nice wooden TV stand with which is nearly full and I then start trying to sort the films out and realised there are DVD’s I have kept for years with which some of the films I even have two copies of and some I have never even watched or wanted to. I sort them into ones that I like and ones that I do not need any more so can recycle.
I don’t need any money for them but I know some charities will beenfit from them. It turns out the charity shops are closed at the moment but what I have done is put the DVD aside and I will wait untiil they are open again and then give them the films.
I also have a Salvation Army shop at the end of my road so I can donate my DVD’s and unneeded clothes there to and if we are still on lock down I can incorporate it into my daily walk. If I could post items to them I have some spare boxes here and I would be prepared to do that to.
I also have an I shall contact them later and see what they say. Charity donations are going through the floor at the moment due to so many people being made redundant so every little helps.
If you’re having a sort out why not donate to one of your local charities. It has also made me think about when I die and what to say in my will I think for my possessions that can be donated that is what I will do, seeing as how I am single with no children and do not want someone else to have the hassle of sorting the stuff out I can donate it to a charity.
I have a will from my mum too and here house is like a labyrinth of beautiful stuff which I thought I would have the hassle of having to sell buy again I think I will try to have most of it recycled and donated to charity now. So it can go to someone that really wants it and also a charity will benefit too.
