Britain has the worst coronavirus death toll in Europe, official figures showed on Tuesday, prompting calls for an inquiry into the handling of the pandemic.

The government’s tally of fatalities across the UK reached 29,427 for those who tested positive for coronavirus, exceeding the 29,029 recorded in Italy – until now Europe’s worst-hit country. Italy’s total does not include suspected cases.

Let the truth set you free.

If this virus is not a serious enough issue that needs honesty and transparency in the eyes of Boris Johnson than quite frankly nothing is, only with the light of the truth may we see and learn from what was done.

This not some shoddy back room deal lives have been put on the line and deaths have been generated as a result of decisions made.

Stop HS2 – UK Civil Service Fraud and manipulation

Above is yet another example of how the UK state mechanics fail’s the people, politicians and legal mechanisms of the UK. If the civil service have to resort to lying to set and maintain their agenda, then it is important to know what exactly that agenda is. In the mist of time they have probably forgotten who for what reason the design and decision that was made was and why it is important to stick to it.

I am still having dealing with Network Rail and the Police presently and even though the Police Officer is acting within the letter of the law I am in no way convinced that Network Rail are acting in the letter or the spirit of the law and am awaiting a response now from Natural England concerning the Truth of a matter. It will be interesting to see if they are also accomplices in the bull that enables ecocide and the destruction of wildlife to take place along swathes of the UK all slaughtered on the altar of progress!!

The fact of the matter/the truth of the matter?

Definition of ’the fact of the matter/the truth of the matter’

Just heard this evening that the wildife investigation is still continuing with Network rail and they have still provided no evidence of what they have done, whilst also accepting no guilt for the actions that they have taken. They are now claiming that a native species of caterpillar infestation has resulted in them having to cut down a long swath of scrub along the embankment admiting no guilt for the removal of any nesting sites that were cut down in the process.

The native brown tail moth caterpillar they are now blaiming as the reson for cutting back and removing the nests.

My response to the Police was as follows

Thank you for your email, I am pleased that you will be able to find out who actually identified and approved this work and how network rail were made aware that it was needed to be undertaken. I did not realise that this native species to the UK could be such a threat on railway lines and that network rail were actively cleaning tracks because of this. When I spoke to the network rail staff that I saw on the first day that they were doing the cutting, they only said they were clearing brambles to make the pavements for pedestrians clearer, they must be so modest to not say there true intention to me to be carry out such important work.

Such a shame that whoever found the infestation did not take a photo to so as to warn others of this potential infestation of caterpillars; it must have been such a large amount of caterpillars to remove so much of the embankment? I assume the council only becomes aware of what was happening after you informed them and had no prior knowledge of what was going on concerning the cleanup operation.

I am also assuming that they have been given permission to remove birds nest if caterpillars are in the same section of scrub. Is that correct?

In summary my two main questions are who informed network rail of this stretch of land being infested by this native species and were they aloud to remove birds’ nests at this time of year because of the caterpillar population along such a long stretch of land?

I am still waiting for a response and evidence of thier actions.

The webs we weave

We do not stand alone in this fight

So the world health organisation has just announced we may never find a cure. That covin-19 might never be eradicated. But one thing we must take into the calculation is that life finds a way and we are not alone in this battle as the virus burns its way across our earth it keeps on coming into contact with our greatest and best ally we have. A sleeping giant so as to speak. One that has yet to be defeated and adapts to fight for our right at every turn. I am not talking about a single person, place country or continent, but the greatest Mom of them all Mother Nature. She fights for us. This virus is an alien to her fighting in an alien environment and every time it tries to spread through us it hits her and I am very confident she is doing her best to hit back and find a way to defeat this virus.

In my minds eye this has been an attack on mother nature not from her to us and she will fight for us.

The awakening of an old god for modern times. In this life as well as the next.

The Celtic cross is a form of Christian cross featuring a nimbus or ring that emerged in Ireland, France and Britain in the Early Middle Ages. A type of ringed cross, it became widespread through its use in the stone high crosses erected across the islands, especially in regions evangelized by Irish missionaries, from the 9th through the 12th centuries.

A staple of Insular art, the Celtic cross is essentially a Latin cross with a nimbus surrounding the intersection of the arms and stem. Scholars have debated its exact origins, but it is related to earlier crosses featuring rings. The form gained new popularity during the Celtic Revival of the 19th century; the name “Celtic cross” is a convention dating from that time. The shape, usually decorated with interlace and other motifs from Insular art, became popular for funerary monuments and other uses, and has remained so, spreading well beyond Ireland.

Helping a homeless guy

Well I have met a homeless man on my visits to and from the shops in St Thomas recently and have been buying him food or giving him money. We got talking and I find out his name and that for at least nine months including through winter he has slept outside and he says it was very cold during winter and he does not want to do that again if he can help it.

I told him that due to corinvirus he might be able to be housed now and he said that yes he had been offered accommodation but has refused it as does not want to be sleeping amongst smack heads (drug takers). He does have a point as there are illegal drug takers in the community and I have seen a used needle in a place where they hang out.

I said that he should still get some housing advice so that he knows what his rights are and possibly get registered on the housing list. I was temporarily made homeless when I had to leave my University course due to ill health and because of that I have my own flat which I can afford to pay both the bills and rent without having to pay the commercial rate that the private sector would charge.

I told the homeless chap that I would print out advice for him and give it to him the next time I see him. So I have a sheet ready for him now.

I know nothing of where he is from, where he grew up or even if he is local. Maybe I will find out one day.

Afternoon of 13th May 2020.

So I met up with him today he now has the information I printed out on a paper for him and I hope he calls the number.

Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf?

So I have purchased a hoodie which should be turning up to my home any day now.

I think it looks really cool and no I am not turning all viking or anything like that but the concept, mythology and design are all awsome.

Geri and Freki

In Norse mythology, Geri and Freki (Old Norse, both meaning “the ravenous” or “greedy one”) are two wolves which are said to accompany the god Odin. They are attested in the Poetic Edda, a collection of epic poetry compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, in the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson, and in the poetry of skalds. The pair has been compared to similar figures found in Greek, Roman and Vedic mythology, and may also be connected to beliefs surrounding the Germanic “wolf-warrior bands”, the Úlfhéðnar.

OutRage! at 30

The following issue is really important to me. My Dad is gay and so is his partner they are both two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. My Dads partner works in the NHS and my Dad is now retired,

I once asked my Dad when did you realised you were gay and he told me he knew because that is how he was born. A bulb lit in my mind thinking how did I know I was straight? The answer was exactly the same I was born straight.

Around the world people are still being beaten, jailed and persecuted for the sexuality that they were born with. A true miscarriage of justice.

A Starling has landed

First bird of hopefully many

So our Leader Boris Johnson spoke this evening and I missed much of the recording because I managed to catch live the first bird land on my bird table.

It’s the little things that make you happy. My Dad phoned me after the speech that Boris gave and asked what I thought I said I did not know as I was filming my first Starling to land on my bird table, my Dad was most unimpressed.

Starlings are small to medium-sized passerine birds in the family Sturnidae. The name “Sturnidae” comes from the Latin word for starling, sturnus. Many Asian species, particularly the larger ones, are called mynas, and many African species are known as glossy starlings because of their iridescent plumage. Starlings are native to Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as northern Australia and the islands of the tropical Pacific. Several European and Asian species have been introduced to these areas as well as North America, Hawaii and New Zealand, where they generally compete for habitats with native birds and are considered to be invasive species. The starling species familiar to most people in Europe and North America is the common starling, and throughout much of Asia and the Pacific, the common myna is indeed common.

Starlings have strong feet, their flight is strong and direct, and they are very gregarious. Their preferred habitat is fairly open country, and they eat insects and fruit. Several species live around human habitation and are effectively omnivores. Many species search for prey such as grubs by “open-bill probing”, that is, forcefully opening the bill after inserting it into a crevice, thus expanding the hole and exposing the prey; this behaviour is referred to by the German verb zirkeln (pronounced [ˈtsɪʁkl̩n]).[1]

Plumage of many species is typically dark with a metallic sheen. Most species nest in holes and lay blue or white eggs.

Starlings have diverse and complex vocalizations and have been known to embed sounds from their surroundings into their own calls, including car alarms and human speech patterns. The birds can recognize particular individuals by their calls and are the subject of research into the evolution of human language.[2]

I also watch The Men Who Stare at Goats today it’s a great film, I would recommend it.
