Trump warns ‘all hell is going to break out’ if Gaza hostage deadline not met by Hamas
How the Palestinians are treated in Gaza really does remind me of the execution scenes in the film Schindler’s list. I dread to think what the final solution is in the mind of Trump and Netanyahu for the Palestinian people.
When you see a whole nation or race of people as an enemy you no longer see them as people at all.
The Liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto – Max Richter “Last Days” / scene from “Schindler’s List”
The Krakow Ghetto was one of five major, metropolitan Jewish ghettos created by Nazi Germany in the new General Government territory during the German occupation of Poland in World War II. It was created for the purpose of exploitation, terror, and persecution of local Polish Jews, as well as the staging area for separating the “able workers” from those who would later be deemed unworthy of life. The Ghetto was liquidated between June 1942 and March 1943, with most of its inhabitants sent to Belzec extermination camp and Plaszow slave-labor camp, and exterminated also at Auschwitz concentration camp.
The Don Trump has been speaking and signing executive orders like he is an all powerful monarch of the United States of America, Canada, Mexico oh and Gaza too.
The thing about very dangerous men is not only will they do everything they can to get into power, they will also then do everything that they can to keep and strengthen that power too.
During his first two weeks in office, President Donald Trump has signed nearly 40 executive orders. They cover a dizzying array of policy areas from immigration to public school and many of them have already been challenged in court. The orders have impacted many lives, and, constitutional or not, the damage that some of these orders threaten to do is real.
Summary of Executive Orders and Their Use
Definition and Legal Framework:
Executive orders are written directives issued by the president under Article II of the Constitution to ensure laws are faithfully executed.
They cannot override federal laws or statutes, which must be passed by Congress.
While executive orders can guide federal agencies on implementing laws, they cannot create new statutes.
Presidential Authority:
Presidents can use executive orders to direct government actions within their constitutional authority without violating federal law.
They cannot bypass checks and balances or usurp powers from Congress or the judiciary.
Implementation Timeline:
Some orders take effect immediately, while others require further action from federal agencies, which may delay their impact.
Revocation of Executive Orders:
Executive orders can be stopped by:
Congress enacting a law to reverse them.
Courts declaring them unlawful.
A future president issuing a new order to rescind or amend them.
Historical Context:
All presidents have issued executive orders, some of significant importance (e.g., Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation, Truman’s military integration).
Conversely, some orders have had negative impacts, like Roosevelt’s internment of Japanese Americans.
Controversy Over Use:
The ACLU and others advocate against executive orders that threaten civil liberties and rights, highlighting the potential for harm despite legality.
An executive order is misused if it violates the Constitution or federal laws.
President Trump’s orders, such as rescinding civil rights obligations for federal contractors, may not violate statutes but can undermine civil rights.
Trump makes the Watergate scandel look like a mere warm up act for what he is doing and about to do.
President Trump demonstrates a clear lack of interest in treating people with love, respect, or dignity, and he does not adhere to the law as he claims. While he positions himself as the law of the land, the reality is quite different.
Saving lives requires investment, and those who identify as Christians yet continue to support Trump’s worldview must consider one critical question: What would the poor, immigrant Jesus do? Do they truly follow His teachings, or do they prioritize Trump’s version of patriotism?
Many supporters may believe they are voting to “save babies” from abortion, but Trump’s policies could lead to far greater suffering and loss of life globally. Do they think Jesus cares only for the lives of U.S. citizens?
This is not about saving money; it’s about an immoral agenda that reflects how little one man cares and the immense damage he can inflict while claiming to act in the public’s best interest. Ultimately, his actions serve only his interests and those of his billionaire backers. The United States has moved from a challenging situation into an even worse one; it’s more like stepping out of the frying pan into the fire and brimstone.
Senator Bernie Sanders States MAGA billionaire Elon Musk and his so-called “Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)” and reveals that what they’re doing is actually “illegal.”
“Nothing wrong with looking for waste in the kinds of bureaucracy that exist. I think we can do a whole lot to get rid of the waste, the fraud, the excessive bureaucracy that exists in government — especially, by the way, in the Defense Department,” Sanders said on CNN.
Notably, Musk and his minions have not been going after the Pentagon — a move that would enrage the military-industrial complex that funnels so much money into Musk’s companies — but have instead focused on gutting things like AIDs prevention programs and support for the global poor.
“What is wrong right now is one simple reality: What Musk is doing is illegal and unconstitutional,” said Sanders.
Senator Sanders is absolutely correct. Musk and his DOGE minions have been rummaging through the Treasury Department’s payment systems without proper clearance or Congressional oversight.
On top of that, they have moved to lock federal employees out of the U.S. Agency for International Development, a blatantly illegal move since USAID is funded by appropriations from Congress. Musk is directly violating the balance of power between the branches of government.
“You cannot go into an agency like USAID and essentially fire everybody and get rid of that agency,” stated Sanders. “That’s an agency that was created by Congress.”
“They want to get rid of USAID? Fine. Come to the Congress. Make your case. You can’t do it unilaterally,” he continued.
“You tell me whether or not we are living in an oligarchy,” Sanders added. “And I think the function of government under Trump, under Elon Musk, will not be to serve ordinary people, but to make the very richest people in this country even richer.”
Donald Trump and Elon Musk are stripping our government for parts. We can either sit back and watch as our country crumbles or we can demand immediate action.
I have read a few articles about the intelligence and logic of Donald Trump and Elon Musk – both men even if they have intelligence and wisdom are not acting presently on those instincts. These men are both salesmen and businessmen to their core, able to make and lose considerable amounts of money and can surf the financial markets and do what they got to do in order to make a profit in any given situation within which they find themselves in.
If they were running a company right now rather than the most powerful country in the world what you could describe their actions as is an asset striping exercise, where upon a company is taken over in financial difficulties and selling each of its assets separately at a profit without regard for the company’s future. Sadly that is exactly what is being done to the American state and the institutions that it over sees domestically and around the world.

The present government might save or generate a considerable amount of wealth to certain individuals, but I believe there will be a price to pay. Seriously destabilise and causing considerable amount of suffering within the USA and the rest of the world – we really are in a new era now where the future is uncertain and unknown but is unlikely to be good or even profitable.
The three wise monkeys are a Japanese pictorial maxim, embodying the proverbial principle “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”. The three monkeys are
Mizaru (見ざる), “does not see”, covering his eyes
Kikazaru (聞かざる), “does not hear”, covering his ears
Iwazaru (言わざる), “does not speak”, covering his mouth.
There are at least two divergent interpretations of the maxim: in Buddhist tradition, it is about avoiding evil thoughts and deeds. In the West, however, it is often interpreted as dealing with impropriety by turning a blind eye. Turning a blind eye is an idiom describing the ignoring of undesirable information.
I think over the next four years there will be lots of turning of blind eyes to Trump actions and inactions in both domestic and international politics.
The KLF – America: What Time is Love? – 1991 – (Full Uncensored 12″)
“Ecocide” means unlawful or wanton acts committed with knowledge that there is a substantial likelihood of severe and either widespread or long-term damage to the environment being caused by those acts.
What is considered ecocide?
Ecocide is committing any unlawful or detrimental act that one is well-aware will cause severe, irreversible long-term damage to the environment. Ecocide has a negative human impact on the environment by causing mass destruction to our delicate ecosystems that are imperative to sustain all types of life on Earth.
This has been a challenging start to the year and although President Trump is what I will most likely write about and his actions and inactions, have mostly been far from my mind. My lovely father has been incredibly unwell and it is serious, but the light and joy I get from him at this time gives me a shield of warmth and love in which to take on and cope with this world of ours.
President Trump just merely picks up a document and has to sign it into law in order to turn from reason to madness. He ordered the US to leave the World Health Organisation sighting mismanagement and poor decision making for this quick cash crab for America on a most important humanitarian organisation. This organisation does a great deal to internationally keep diseases from peoples doors and to withdraw money from it for administrative reasons is self inflicted wound on the world and utter madness. Though on the other side of a coin it will save people in the USA money and so means you have to pay less taxes – there will be a lot of this important activity stopping in order to save money, taking place over the next four years and no matter how much money you save and how much your stocks, shares and crypto currencies increase the world will be in a far worse place for these cash grabs by the Trump administration.
To live a love of money is that what the profits said?
Those whom are inadvertently or directly affected by Trump’s cash grab in the name of freedom (freedom from what, I don’t know anymore, as to free someone of a financial tax also enslaves and potential condemning others to death that would have benefit from the live saving healthcare and planning provided by the WHO).
Ca$hing in on the act!
True there is never enough money to provide for the greed of this world it looks like Trump has chosen to take a rain check on America’s commitment and responsibilities to the needs of this world and itself – I wish someone could tell me how this makes America great again.
Back to my own perspective of humanity and how people should, could and do treat each other – at this challenging time for my family I have uttermost respect and goodwill for those that at this difficult time have shown me random acts of kindness, support and love –it really does mean the world to me and gives me strength to carry on, survive and hopefully thrive.
I hope that those forced into difficulty directly due to Donald Trump’s money saving and spending antics, wickedness and cruelty also happen to meet people along their way in their life that are able to offer compassion, comfort and warmth as well as the strength to carry on, survive and hopefully thrive along there way.
When a political leader boasts of his plans to expand his own nations land by acquiring through military or economic means against the will of the people who already live or own it in the name of ‘the protection of the free world’ – well your world is no longer going to be free.
Donald Trump is threatening and warning other nations not to stand in his way as he moves to acquire Canada as the 51st state, Greenland as an island of national interest and the panama canal becoming owned by the US.
Trump talks a lot of hostile nonsense as fact and he does it so often it risks becoming fact. If Britain turned around and said that Ireland should now become a nation of the UK or vice-versa there would be uproar and outrage quite rightly but Trump announces which parts of the world he has decided to govern and the world does not blink an eye.
The man is dangerous and for someone that does not use the word evil lightly I would also describe him as a bad and evil man this is not trash talk, this is fact. Based on words, actions and deeds. I don’t know why someone can have the gall to call themselves a Christian either Catholic or other and support, defend or rally around the policies of this president elect. He has a one way ticket to hell when his maker calls time on his life and I hope he does not drag many others there through his strength of will and convictions to.
Just heard the phrase on a clip on my X website on the Peston show from tonight in the UK where Martin Lewis talks about ‘people living within their own fiscal eco-chambers’.
To me this really struck a chord and is so insightful to so many political expressions, opinions and perspectives. An echo chamber is “an environment where a person only encounters information or opinions that reflect and reinforce their own.” The term is a metaphor based on an acoustic echo chamber, in which sounds reverberate in a hollow enclosure.
I often wonder why both in the UK and US why elections often appear to be so close and nobody really knows who is going to win or lose or even or by how much of a percentage and also why people seem to express certain strong held views or appear to disbelieve or not have an interest in or care about the views of others that can be considered to be an opposite to their own.
Well I still don’t understand why one would ever vote for Trump and over the next four years were going to see that political reality unfold. But as a businessman and salesman that made a pitch to multiple pockets of people with a wide spectrum of opinions and he was able to rally enough people in enough fiscal eco chambers to ultimately be able to now dominate the political landscape for the next four years in the US and beyond too.
Sadly in the UK the right have dominated our politics in terms of proportion of governments voted in over the years and an eco chamber of people that look inwards to what is in it for themselves when their lives are profitable or are sold a story or business model that looks inwards to making them wealthier and more prosperous, you can see the logic in why a majority would vote for this consistently on an election by election basis and then once elected our government and politicians fights for this ethos for our nations and fight to tell us that this is what they are doing for us and thus the cycle of inward looking self-serving politics continues.
Trumps political perspective might be an extreme perspective of such self serving interests and needs to be fulfilled and voted for but it is neither new nor in many ways an unexpected thing to vote for when given a choice to do so.
The main problem for me, which I mention from my warm, hobbit hole in the shire of Devon in what is after all considered to be a relatively affluent part of the planet and well looked after space and place is that the world aspires to be. A self serving place like many that looks after its own interest and needs but not everywhere in the world is relatively affluent part of the planet or a well looked after space and place on the planet. There are conflicting interest, desires and opinions and not everyone can have or should get their own way. There are not enough trees to be cut down, not enough rivers and seas to be polluted and robbed of life, not enough land to be bought and sold or mines to be dug out or shares to be bought and sold for everyone.
There are many in the wealthy areas of the world whose eco chamber of reality and political perspective often encourages them to ignore or turn a blind eye to the suffering of others, alien to themselves, to ignore and pretend that it does not matter to them because of who they are or what they have and where they live.
Foreign places to many that are experiencing great poverty or suffering in developing or underdeveloped or third world nations, due to lack of fiscal opportunities and jobs or due to wars (not caused by them) or climate change (not generated by them) or pollution (not produced by them), or political stagnation and corruption (also not their fault) are often seen as not our problems too.
Such people living under such circumstances will seek to possibly escape to a wealthy region of the world, safer from all of the above mentioned negatives, these people will be known as immigrants, both legal and illegal ones. Or if fortunate in the country they live in they might seek to work as best they can to provide their future generations with great chance of wealth and opportunities that they could never have had in their own lifetime, but this opportunity will not be there for all.
Devon has been battered by the elements this week. My mum lives in a new house in a village in Devon. With new build properties, there has been a move to make sure that the buildings are energy efficient and heating supplies are sustainable, homes well insulated, which are all a good things and help the planet and also should help bring mums energy costs down in the long run.
Devon also got hit by snow this week on Thursday and although there was enough snow to stop the buses running for a few hours where I live in Exeter, where mum lives the storm took out the electricity supply too.
She has an air pump at the garden which is run by electricity where air pumps heats up hot water, that then go to under floor heating pipes under the floors downstairs and takes hot water upstairs to radiators and a water storage unit. Well the village that she lives in had this power cut and on Thursday her electric was off from 09:30am to 4pm and during this time the temperature dropped too and snow fell.
I was worried about her and unfortunately the mobile phone network also went down in the area at about the same time, for all I know also due to having no electricity supply too. When I managed to get hold of her just after 4pm she was ok but cold and the heating was able to come on as soon as the electricity came back on, but she was so cold that she had to spend much of the day in bed just to keep warm and comfortable.
So over the weekend I have been trying to research possible ways of providing electricity or other support for her during a power cut. On the weekend we also had our second name storm of the season, I was staying with my mum and at around 6 am this morning the wind was blowing and the rain was pouring down there was another brief power cut although this time the power came straight back on fortunately. It is likely there will be more storms and power cuts on the way this season too.
So I started to do some research into possibly energy or devises that could assist mum during a power cut and the first thing I started looking into was the possibly of what they call a power station its a kind of rechargeable large battery, that people take on holiday when they go camping. I though wouldn’t it be great if maybe it could power a kettle and a heater, while the electric is off in the house that would be an awesome comfort to my mum and the only worry then would be where to plug it in and how many cups of tea she could make and how long it could heat a room for.
But from what little research I have done so far it take a huge amount of electricity to heat up a kettle let alone an electric heater, which would use a huge amount of electricity that a simply battery powered station simply could not provide. If lucky you might be able to heat up a small camping kettle a few times a battery charge, whilst spending something like £500 or more on a battery power station powerful enough to be able to heat the kettle and not much else. I don’t think the technology of kettles heating up water has changed much in over 50 or more as there has not been seen to be a need for that kind of invention we just switch them on at the mains and they work.
My Dad also sensible suggested a thermos flask for her to keep hot water in, for what every hot drink she might want to make use of it for. You can get ones that are 500ml or 1000ml in size made by thermos that will keep water heated for potentially up to 24 hours. There are minor problems with doing this though. To provide hot water during a power cut firstly, you don’t know when the power cut is going to happen so you would need to fill it with hot water before any big storm is forecast, just in case. Secondly if you accidently forget to fill it up or don’t fill it up before the electric goes off its no use to you whatsoever.
Price wise though it’s much more realistic to by a thermos flask for £25 and make good use of it rather than spend £500 or more on a battery power station that is not powerful enough to heat up your home kettle. So it looks like Santa will be getting mum a thermos flask for Christmas and as for the electric battery power station although it sounds like a great idea sadly it’s just not practical or powerful enough for the budget that we have.
It feels like better minds than mine will need to tackle these issues head on as if we are planning to have properties more dependant on just electric for there power needs no more gas central heating systems or wood burners or oil heating systems in home then homes in communities which are vulnerable to the elements and power cuts when storms take place will also have to have some sort of back up system that can continue to supply electricity while the main power is off during winter months.
Were nowhere near investing in a solar panel roof for to be covered in snow or for the sky to be covered in clouds and she doesn’t have the land to place a working wind powered generator onto. If the batteries for home power stations could improve or if home electrical products became less power hungry then that is certainly an investment for the future. But for now I think we will stick to a thermos flask.
Sometimes to understand the present we must learn from the past. When we learn from the past we stand a better chance of not repeating past mistakes and those mistakes that are not learned from then look more likely to be repeated again and again.
The most successful cultures, nations and empires have not been kind to those that they have conquered. As an invader would say “This land is now my land even if you were on it before I arrived”, that kind of thing, “Your old gods are not my gods, but I have some far more successful gods to introduce you to whom you must now believe in too, if you wish to continue to live and should you refuse you will die or be my slaves”, as the wheels of the world continue to turn and the world continues to carry on with or without you as the new occupier build there temples on what was once your land.
Of course this was all in the olden days before we were born, we live in a modern cultured, educated world now where people no longer go to war for land, culture wars, or for gods or power don’t we? We now fight just wars for freedom not unjust wars for money and power don’t we?
Well we are on the brink of a potential of circumstances to be able to escalate into world war three so we are sure to find out what will happen next. Sadly justice does not always win out in wars, but is written into the script and end credits by the victors.
I have often wondered at what the world would look like if the druids were still preaching today? I love pagan and druidic mythology or interpretations of what they stood for in history. Sadly we do not have any direct written knowledge or guidance from those pagan times because those that wrote down their interpretations of them were their enemy, who wanted no less than to defeat their gods and make them worship their gods and adopt their own culture and gods as their own instead in order to survive and as people continue to thrive.
A love the concept of an earth mother or mother earth and gaia – a planet of life.
But from what little we have learned or can be interpreted to be known today, the druids believed in equality between woman and men. Women could be gods, queens and governesses of people, owners of property in their own right and had the right to marry and divorce. These are something we think of as rights earned overtime and thought for through the 20th Century and rights still being hard thought for in many countries today. To me this concept is not only about a transfer of power to women but an equality of rights amongst all. It is heart warming to know this is not a new concept but in fact an ancient one from cultures of a distant past.
How and when we treat others with compassion and fairness, whether we know them or not is not a sign of weakness but an insight into knowledge and understanding of others and we should always see ourselves from the eyes of others whenever we can find it possible to do so. We should aspire to be equals wherever we can and not enemies.
When we branch out from the tree of humanity, we are all at one time or another connected, what sustains the life of one can sustian the life of all. From the first seed to the most recently sown. Where one thrives, all can thrive but when we destroy others we risk destroying all including ourselves.
When we see all that are different or indifferent to us as potential enemies that must be battled against then one day we will all be beaten and lose. We must aim and aspire to be equals not enemies. The most powerful enemy who wins upon a battlefield is not necessarily going to be the most righteous or for want of a better word moral or stand for what is right verses what is wrong. Might is not always right.
